My role
Product Strategy: Shaped goals and user acquisition tactics to build an early subscriber base, aligned with the rapid launch timeline.
Ideation: Developed solutions to capture emails from non-local visitors.
UX/UI Design: Crafted user flows and interface to maximize retention.
Team
I led the project in direct collaboration with the CEO of 1000Farmacie, with guidance from GlueGlue's UX Manager (Matteo Lo Manto).
Ensure the design is simple and engaging to enhance user interaction.
Establish trust with users through transparent communication and reliable features.
Concisely explain the benefits to clearly convey value and encourage user adoption.
The user experience is linear, emphasizing details and order management in a straightforward manner.
The dashboard displays only pending and past orders, limiting the information available to users.
The order detail page is clear and concise, presenting essential information effectively.
Offering a benefit, such as a discount, is the most effective way to collect emails from potential users.
If users advance past the initial step, we can inquire about their prescription status and request their email for reminders if they don’t have one.
For users outside Milan, we can ask if they would like to be notified when the service is available in their area.
Impact
Following the release, the platform achieved impressive results by collecting 35,000 emails within just two weeks and successfully raising €10 million in a Series A round. Six months post-launch, client retention saw a remarkable increase of 45%, while revenue grew by 25%.
Key learnings
Although the project scope was not extensive in terms of design complexity, its effects on user engagement and business growth were profound. This experience taught me not to underestimate the potential of streamlined solutions to drive significant results, reinforcing the idea that thoughtful design, regardless of scale, can lead to meaningful change.
